Many dogs as they get older start to experience stiffness and pain in their joints. Sadly with some dogs this is a normal part of ageing, but there is much that we can do to help them. The usual cause for this is osteoarthritis. This can cause anything from mild stiffness, to your dog being lame and limping and in a great deal of pain. With today’s modern veterinary medicine, no dog should be left to suffer pain as they get older, so always take your dog to the vet should you notice some of these changes.
