Daily Doggie Tip#53

It’s the day most families dread, the day that we lose our fur friend. It’s a journey that we all have to make with them, and it is a heart breaker.

Many will say ‘it’s just a dog’. I feel so very sorry for these people as they have obviously never experienced the utter joy of loving and living with a wonderful 4 legged member of the family. How do we cope, when our heart breaks into pieces when our pets die? I have found 2 links that help understand the grieving process, in the hope that reading it make us understand that what we feel is normal, and that given time, we will cope, even though it doesn’t feel like it at the time.
